Given the adverse context for Mexican youth, in which they represent the group most affected by crime and violence, it is necessary to implement plans, actions, programs, and intervention models that are targeted to young people who are at-risk and/or exposed to violence and crime in the communities where they live. These interventions must aim to reduce risky behavior that generate a greater propensity for youth within Mexico to commit violent acts and/or a crime.
